Oliver is a special Rhone blend that debuted with the 2009 vintage. This wine is named for Morgan's son, who made his debut in December of that year. Oliver is a rich and charismatic blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah and Grenache and spends 18 months in 20% new French oak prior to bottling. Oliver's label is designed by his loving grandmother, Lynn Lee.
The 2011 vintage was the coldest recent Washington vintage, but it has proven to be one of our favorites here at Two Vintners. Focused and bright this is a wine that will age out beautifully in the years to come. The 2011 vintage was 75% Syrah, 20% Petite Sirah and 5% Grenache all coming from the StoneTree Vineyard in the Wahluke Slope AWA.
